Manik Becomes X-Division Champion at Impact Final Resolution

Manik is the new Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion. He successfully defeated Rohit Jaju at Impact Wrestling pay-per-view Final Resolution.

This marks the second time that Manik has held the X-Division Championship. He previously held the title while wrestling as Suicide on TNA back in 2013.

Manik was able to duck a jumping knee strike from Raju and roll him up to score a pinfall victory, bringing Raju’s 120-day reign to an end.

Raju had won the X-Division Championship in a three-way match during the Emergence pay-per-view back in August. This was the first title that he held with Impact Wrestling. He had been defending his title in a series of “Defeat Rohit” challenges.

At Final Resolution, Rohit came down to the ring, declaring that he was holding his final ‘Defeat Rohit’ Challenge for 2020. He asked who would try and beat him this time, at which point Manik came out to meet him.

Manik is a persona of TJP, who was part of the three-way match on Emergence, along with Chris Bey. TJP was also part of an intergender scramble match for the championship during Bound For Glory and challenged Raju unsuccessfully on a November 10 Impact episode.
