Mark Henry Would Come Out of Retirement for a Match With The Rock

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry did an interview with Heavy.com where he spoke about the one match that might get him out of retirement.

Henry told Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson that he would love to have a match against his fellow former Nation of Domination member, The Rock.

“I’m 2-0 against the Rock,” noted Henry. “I think I should give him the opportunity to get one, to get a ‘chip’ against me.”

According to Henry, he would love to remind the Rock that he never beat Henry and ask if it “bothered him a little bit.”

“He would say, ‘Your ass is going down this time! You might as well go on and look up at the lights!’ I would have to look at the lights,” said Henry.

Henry officially retired after WrestleMania 33, though he did participate in the Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018.

There has been a slew of rumors of The Rock returning to wrestling recently, but it has mostly centered around plans for him to face his cousin, the current Universal Champion Roman Reigns. One of the big hurdles for this match is allegedly the amount of insurance coverage the Rock would need to have to wrestle again.
