Matt Hardy Has Harsh Words for Jeff Hardy’s New Tag Team ‘Hardy Bros’

Matt Hardy left WWE earlier last year after a less than stellar run since joining in 2017. Similar to several other ex-WWE stars, Hardy doesn’t speak too highly of his former organization and has once again called them out in a YouTube video.

Hardy dissed the newest tag team on RAW, the Hardy Bros, comprising of Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle. Hardy called the team a cheap knockoff of Hardy Boyz and said Vince is just looking to cash in on the popularity.

He went on to compare the team to Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel. The team was made as a parody for Ramon and Diesel, who left WWE to join WCW in 1996.

“Vince McMahon is so obsessed with the greatness and the popularity and the success of the Hardy Boyz that he’s created The Hardy Bros. He’s put together another guy named Matt with my brother, Jeff, to try and recreate the magic that we once had.”

“He’s trying to confuse the marketplace because he so wishes he still had the Hardy Boyz. The Hardy Bros with Jeff and Matt Riddle that’s not gonna work. You would’ve had a better chance with a Fake Razor and Fake Diesel.”

Matt Hardy is not known for burning all the past bridges, which makes this a huge shocker. Jeff Hardy had a chance to follow his older brother to AEW but chose to stay with WWE last year.
