MLW Owner Teases ‘World War’ With Multiple Wrestling Promotions

There has been a rise in partnerships within several wrestling promotions recently, with AEW teaming up with Impact Wrestling creating a huge impact in the professional wrestling community.

AEW also has a great working relationship with NWA, but they are not the only promotions to have collaborated with others in 2020.

Major League Wrestling teamed up with AAA a few months ago and they even landed a deal with IWA Puerto Rico recently.

Court Bauer, MLW founder, mentioned on a recent media call that a lot is brewing in the professional wrestling business, and a ‘world-war’ situation is being talked about with several promotions.

“In all seriousness, I think we all see a world war of sorts brewing. I can’t say anything right now but hope to be able to say a lot more before the end of the year. We’ll see.”

The rise of secondary promotions taking on the big-giant, WWE, is definitely a promising sign for the wrestling business overall, which has struggled to provide legitimate competition to WWE ever since WCW died down two decades ago.
