MVP Signs Multi-Year Deal With WWE

MVP has announced that he has now signed a multi-year deal with WWE. He announced his new deal with a post on his Instagram.

“Tonight, I’m drinking “the good stuff”. Yamazaki 18 from Suntory Whisky is the spirit of choice,” he wrote.

“MVP is in the Hurt Business for the foreseeable future,” he declared.

According to MVP’s post, he has signed a “multi-year deal”, but there has yet to be an announcement on what the exact terms of the deal are.

MVP returned to WWE this year as a guest entrant during the Royal Rumble. At that time, he was supposedly only going to be a guest, but it was then reported that he would be taking a permanent backstage role with the company.

However, that soon changed, and MVP has taken an onscreen role as an occasional wrestler and a manager/mentor figure. He is currently leading the faction ‘The Hurt Business’ with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.

On the latest episode of Raw, MVP lost the U.S. Championship to Apollo Crews. The episode ended, however with him and his Hurt Business compatriots invading Raw Underground and standing tall after decimating the competition.
