MVP Suffered a Knee Injury on This Week’s Episode of WWE Raw

MVP is the leader and the mouthpiece of The Hurt Business, but while it’s obvious that the former United States Champion is part of the group for his promo ability, sometimes he is forced to wrestle.

Last night on Raw, MVP teamed with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander in a six-man tag match against Riddle and The Lucha House Party.

MVP was the star who took the pin following a Floating Bro, but there was a point in the match where MVP took a rough bump on the apron and was then seen limping.

At the time it was unclear if the star was selling a potential knee injury, but after the show, he was seen using crutches on Raw Talk. MVP later took to Instagram where he shared an image that proved that he was now stuck using crutches.

MVP is expected to be in Bobby Lashley’s corner this weekend at Elimination Chamber when he defends his United States Championship against both Riddle and Keith Lee.

Lee wasn’t part of last night’s episode of Raw and the commentary team noted that he may not be medically cleared, so it will be interesting to see if that match goes ahead as a singles match and if MVP is part of the equation.
