Since MVP returned to WWE this year, he’s been busy building a powerhouse stable around him.
Currently, the Hurt Business consists of MVP, WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley, three-time 24/7 Champion Shelton Benjamin, and their newest recruit, former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander.
They have yet to recruit a woman into the stable, but with the results of this SmackDown’s draft, MVP is teasing that it could change.
During the draft held on this week’s SmackDown, former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi was drafted to Raw.
Following that news, MVP Tweeted a photo of Naomi being drafted, with thinking emojis.
This has gotten people thinking that he might be interested in recruiting Naomi as the first female member of the Hurt Business.
Naomi, for her part, just retweeted MVP’s Tweet.
This is the first time that MVP or the Hurt Business has shown an interest in bringing in a female superstar. They have approached Apollo Crews, Ricochet, and Mustafa Ali several times but have been turned down.
Their most recent attempt to get Ali on their side ended up precipitating the shock revelation that Ali was actually the leader of RETRIBUTION, who the Hurt Business have been clashing with.
