Back at TLC, The Hurt Business was finally able to overcome the threat of The New Day to become Raw Tag Team Champions.
This meant that The Hurt Business was now dripping in Championships since Bobby Lashley is still United States Champion but wasn’t expected to defend his Championship at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.
It is rumored that Lashley will be forced to defend his Championship against Riddle at the Royal Rumble next month.
While posing for a photo with The Hurt Business following their impressive victory, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and Bobby Lashley all held their Championships while it was unclear what MVP had in his hand.
The former United States Champion took to Twitter to reveal that while half of his team won gold on Sunday night at TLC, he was able to win a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship the day before.
It appears that it was a very successful weekend for the members of The Hurt Business.
MVP is currently the only member of the group who isn’t holding a Championship, but since MVP is seen as more of a manager for the team, it appears that his group is now the most successful on the main roster.
