AJ Styles Retains US Title Against Humberto Carrillo

Humberto Carrillo became the #1 Contender for AJ Styles’ WWE United States Championship by winning the 20-Man battle royal but failed to get the job done as The Phenomenal One defeated the Luchador to retain his title in ecstatic fashion.

Victory seemed certain for Carrillo but his bad leg cost him the match at the very last minute. Styles dodged a Carrillo’s moonsault and fired back with a Phenomenal Forearm for the victory.
