The Universal Championship was up for grabs at WWE Crown Jewel after Roman Reigns relinquished the title and headed home to focus on his battle with leukemia two weeks ago.
Brock Lesnar took on Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia in his rematch for the Championship after losing the title to Reigns back at SummerSlam whilst The Monster Among Men was hoping to pick up the Universal Championship for the first time in his career.
The was one of the most anticipated of the Crown Jewel event and even though Braun Strowman was seen as the favorite heading into the match it was Brock Lesnar who walked out with the belt around his waist. Lesnar needed to deliver the F5 five times to Strowman in order to keep him down and take back the title that he only lost back in August.
Lesnar will now take on AJ Styles at Survivor Series in just over two weeks time in a huge Champion vs Champion match.
It is unknown as to whether or not Lesnar will be working full-time on Monday Night Raw over the next few weeks heading into the penultimate pay-per-view of the year, but it is thought that he could be part of TLC in December.

Lesnar held the Universal Championship from WrestleMania 33 all the way through to SummerSlam this year and beat off all challengers, including Roman Reigns three times before he was finally able to topple him at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
It’s hard to see anyone being able to defeat Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the coming months since Reigns was seen as the biggest threat for the title for so long and now he’s unable to return and dethrone Lesnar once again.
