Nia Jax was last seen on WWE TV when she challenged for the Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Tamina at WrestleMania. The duo was unsuccessful in their second quest to take the titles since The IIconics walked out as Champions but it appears that there was an underlying reason for this.

Nia Jax has been struggling with a knee injury for more than a year now and it appears that the former Women’s Champion will now be sidelined for an undetermined amount of time since she will need surgery on both of her torn ACL’s.

Jax herself took to Twitter to confirm that she would be away from WWE TV for the foreseeable future as well as revealing that she has been struggling with the injury for around a year, but has still continued to work because she was needed in storylines because she was able to push through the pain.

Luckily, there is nothing for Jax to do coming out of WrestleMania weekend, so Tamina and The Irresistible Force have now been written off WWE TV until Jax can make her return.

Snuka could be moved over to SmackDown Live alone as part of the Superstar Shake-up this coming week since she will be without a partner for around nine months.
