Nia Jax Injured R-Truth

Nia Jax took out 30th entrant R-Truth to enter the 30-Man Elimination Match this Sunday at Royal Rumble. The Facebreaker has made a name for herself by hurting fellow Superstars and kept the trend alive by legitimately injuring R-Truth during the angle.

On Dinner With The King podcast, Jerry Lawler confirmed the injury and revealed that the heat was real.

“This got real heat for real. She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall. He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back there. She made it look good.”

Reason Behind Jeff Jarrett’s Return

Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett made his WWE return last Sunday at Royal Rumble. The following night on RAW, Jarrett had a guitar destroyed over him by Elias. The Drifter also smashed a guitar on Road Dogg‘s back.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Jarrett’s return could have one purpose only – to turn Elias heel and put him over.

“Jarrett’s obviously just short-term thing. Just a way to turn Elias. Why they would want to turn Elias I don’t know, but that seems to be the idea.”

WWE Seemingly Giving Up On Kurt Angle

WWE could be giving up on Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

The Olympic Gold Medalist participated in the Men’s Rumble match at Royal Rumble but didn’t make any impact during his time in the ring. Over the past few months, Angle has lost to current generation Superstars (Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin) and his appearances haven’t amounted to anything significant.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE may not have any future plans for the former RAW GM.

“I think that they’ve pretty much given up on Angle.”

No Chalrotte Flair In Lynch Vs. Rousey At WrestleMania 35

The Road to WrestleMania officially kicked off this past Sunday at Royal Rumble. Two top title matches stand confirmed at this point – Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship and Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Charlotte Flair has long been rumored to become part of the Lynch vs. Rousey match at WrestleMania 35, making it a Triple Threat bout.

However, Sports Illustrated has seemingly cleared the air – The Queen may be absent from the title picture entirely.

“With only 67 days until the event, sources close to WWE have told Sports Illustrated that the current plan is to close WrestleMania 35 with the Ronda Rousey-Becky Lynch match as the main event.
