The new year has now begun and with it comes many superstars reflecting on the year that they have had inside the squared circle. WWE has joined in on this and recently tweeted four images of some of the women who had pushed the division forward over the past 12 months, which angered former Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax.
The likes of Carmella, The IIconic’s, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were all pictured as part of the update and Nia Jax then responded to point out that there were also women of color in the company who had been pushing those glass ceilings all year as well.
Jax has gained some heat from the WWE Universe for her comment, but it appears that the only superstar who has responded to her apparent accusation is Tye Dillinger.
The Perfect 10 indirectly responded to Jax’s Tweet to point out that she should spend more time working on her craft and less time on Social Media.
Dillinger has been sidelined with a hand injury over the past few months, something that forced him to miss his United States Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura back in October, but he makes a fair point.
Jax has been showcased on Raw for the best part of the year and is a former Women’s Champion but the most memorable moment of 2018 for her was when she botched a punch that ended Becky Lynch’s Survivor Series hopes.
Jax main evented the latest episode of Monday Night Raw alongside Tamina, Ronda Rousey and Natalya, as part of a match that gained a lot of negativity from the WWE Universe, something that WWE will hopefully address in the build towards Royal Rumble.
