Nikki Bella Through With John Cena, Issues Statement On The End Of Her Relationship

It was earlier reported that 16-time World Champion John Cena and 2-time WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella’s relationship is “officially” over. The news surfaced shortly after Sunday’s season finale of Total Bellas.

“After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was, and in order to move forward with our wedding. After much time and soul-searching alone and together, we have decided to officially part ways,” Bella told People.

Cena and Bella split in January, 2018 and that breakup was filmed on Total Bellas. The former power couple explained that the first breakup was followed by a second split in April that was not shown on the show. The breakup in April was what officially marked the end of their 6-year long relationship. Nikki also called off her wedding that was scheduled to take place on May 5, 2018 in Mexico.

However, when Cena appeared on the Today show in May to make a public plea to get Nikki back, speculations arose as to whether or not the second split was a publicity stunt to boost the ratings of Total Bellas.

People was among many media channels that reported that the duo reconciled in June. However, Bella posted a video on YouTube where she claimed that she and Cena were “just friends” and they were trying to “work things out.”

A WWE source noted, “I don’t have much to say but take note that Nikki is the one doing most of the talking while John is going about his business in private.”

At this point, Nikki is busy house-hunting in the La Jolla area of San Diego, having moved out of Cena’s house. The Fearless One is  allegedly looking to buy a house which consists of at least four bedrooms, good security and a pool and is also  close to her twin sister Brie Bella’s residence.
