PWInsider reports that WWE NXT Superstar Oney Lorcan has suffered a broken orbital bone last weekend during his match at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Although there is no confirmation on how long Lorcan will be out of action, the Superstar is set to undergo surgery soon. It is expected that Lorcan’s might be heavily affected due to this injury since he was in the middle of his biggest push since being signed to a NXT contract in 2015.

Lorcan teamed up with Danny Burch to take on The Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’ Reilly) for the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Strong and O’Reilly successfully defended their tag titles at the show.
Lorcan was absent this past week at the NXT TV tapings in Orlando.
It is to be noted that former Superstar Austin Aries was out of action for approximately 5 months owing to a broken orbital bone in 2016.
