Aside from holding and airing TV tapings again, NXT UK has also been holding training sessions to scout new talent for their roster.
Inside The Ropes previously reported that NXT UK talents were at the UK Performance center as of last week to begin a three-week training session.
Now, these talents have been joined by several independent talents who the WWE is scouting and close to signing.
According to Inside the Ropes, one talent who isn’t at the training, but has signed with the company is Adam Maxted. Maxted, an Irish wrestler, is known for working with World of Sport, Love Island, and Insane Championship Wrestling.
NXT UK is also close to signing Sha Samuels. Samuels had reportedly been offered a WWE contract in January, but it wasn’t finalized because he had been injured at the time.
Aleah James is also part of the training, as is Molly Spartan, and Tony Gill. Gill formerly wrestled in IMPACT as Gurinder Singh.
Aside from wrestlers, WWE is also supposed to be looking into signing additional referees for NXT UK.
