Nyla Rose to Debut for Mission Pro Wrestling in March

Former AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose is set to make her debut for Mission Pro Wrestling (MPW) this March.

MPW is an all-female wrestling promotion based in Buda, Texas. One of the owners and founders is former NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa.

They announced Rose’s debut on their Twitter account. According to the announcement, Rose will debut at their Empty Promises event on March 20. No word yet as to who her opponent will be.

This is the second live event that MPW has held this year. The first happened on February 6 and featured AEW talent Red Velvet. The main event of that show was Thunder Rosa vs. Allysin Kay.

Both Rose and Rosa have been announced as participants in the AEW Women’s Eliminator Tournament to determine the number one contender for the AEW Women’s Championship currently held by Hikaru Shida.

Rosa is in fact announced for the first-round match in the tournament this Wednesday on Dynamite. She will be facing AEW’s Layla Hirsch.

Rose has been confirmed as a participant but has yet to be officially announced for a match. She is, however, the second holder of the AEW Women’s Championship and the woman who Shida beat to become the current champion.
