Looks like the Uso’s weren’t the only last minute pullouts from events during the SummerSlam weekend.
Paige was also scheduled to do a meet and greet before the pay-per-view, but cancelled because she had to see her doctor.
Paige apologized to disappointed fans stating that her health takes priority. Paige has had a history of neck injuries and these were what ultimately led to her ending her in-ring career at the young age of 24.
Paige later posted on her Instagram, a photo of herself and her doctor, Dr. Juan Uribe, who also dealt with the neck injuries of retired WWE performers Nikki Bella and TJ Wilson.
According to Paige, the doctor has found a new hernia and she will need to have surgery again. No details have been released as to when it will take place.
Paige has been managing the tag team of Asuka and Kairi Sane, the Kabuki Warriors, since they debuted. She has Tweeted that she still intends to support them.
The Kabuki Warriors are supposed to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team titles the RAW after SummerSlam on August 12. Given as Paige is implying she will be at their side, it could be that she will have the surgery this weekend or that it is scheduled for after then.
