Legendary WWE personality Paul Heyman has been actively managing reigning Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in the professional wrestling industry since 2002. Widely hailed as the “Godfather of the Microphone”, Heyman leaves no stones un-turned when cutting promos and delivering “spoilers”.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, the ever-witty Advocate expressed his interest to manage UFC’s top draw, Conor McGregor, if he ever pursues a career in WWE. But Heyman’s services aren’t free and come with a hefty price tag.
“The only way I would ever advocate for Conor McGregor is if I got 50 percent of his money – which, considering the fact that I can talk far better than Conor McGregor, I would deserve a lot more, but I would be reasonable with my fee for my advocacy.”
The legendary WWE manager also revealed his thoughts on Brock Lesnar’s future fight with UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. The Beast appeared at UFC 226 and confronted Cormier which led Dana White making their fight official.
However, the date of the fight is yet to be decided upon for Lesnar is currently in the USADA testing pool and will be cleared by early January 2019 if he is able to provide with clean tests throughout.
“As long as Daniel Cormier has the balls to step into the Octagon and put his title up against Brock Lesnar, and UFC comes up with the money for Brock Lesnar – I don’t see anything that would keep Brock Lesnar from taking the fight.”
Since Lesnar’s current WWE deal isn’t exclusive, he will be able to fight inside The Octagon with Cormier, but that must happen before March 2019, for “DC” plans to retire in March on turning 40.
Heyman and McGregor would be yet another perfect pair in WWE, but it’s still unclear how the alliance will work out given “The Notorious” is an ardent trash-talker although Heyman is the best of ‘em all.
