The Undisputed Era has found a new rival on the black and gold brand, as Pat McAfee hired the fourth member in his group this week.
McAfee returned to NXT last week and helped Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch win the Tag Team Championships and revealed himself to be the one who paid off Ridge Holland to attack Adam Cole at Takeover.
This week, McAfee and the tag team champions entered the ring and talked about taking down TUE, before Kyle O’Reilly joined the proceedings.
Pete Dunne made his shocking return to NXT and seemed to be on O’Reilly’s side in the 3-on-1 attack, but ended up turning heel and attacked him.
Dunne joined McAfee’s group and proceeded to beat down O’Reilly alongside Burch and Lorcan.
All the other three members of Undisputed Era are currently out due to injuries, and will most likely return for a WarGames match with the new faction.
This is the first time in over two years that Dunne has turned heel. Dunne was out of action from NXT due to the travel restrictions, and he subsequently made a few appearances on the NXT UK brand.
