This week on Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler injured Lana. She was set to partner with Asuka at WWE TLC and challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Now that Lana is injured, Asuka has to find a new tag team partner for her upcoming match. WWE hasn’t announced a replacement for Lana yet, but it seems Asuka has found a new partner.
Peyton Royce tweeted recently that she would like to team up with the Raw Women’s Champion and challenge Nia and Baszler.
She is a former Women’s Tag Team Champion and her experience in the tag team division would help Asuka a lot in her match.
The former IIconics member wrote that she knows Asuka needs a partner on Sunday, and she can be that partner.
The Empress Of Tomorrow replied to Royce and said, “Let’s do it together.” Although WWE hasn’t confirmed, it’s likely now that Peyton will challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles along with Asuka at WWE TLC.
