Bayley and Sasha Banks teamed up with Natalya at Super Showdown to win their match against The Riott Squad in what was a fantastic six-woman tag match, but it’s still strange for the WWE Universe to see Bayley and Sasha on the same page after they were fighting with each other and forced to go to therapy a few months ago.

The two women seemingly found common ground and then became friends again and many fans believed that this was because they were going to be the front-runners to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships, but now Evolution has come and gone, it appears that Tag Team Championships are no longer on the horizon.

Sasha and Bayley have no real storyline coming out of Evolution and many fans have wondered why WWE never pulled the trigger on their feud when they had the chance since it had the potential to turn into the show that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are currently creating on SmackDown Live.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently noted that WWE were waiting for the chance to allow the women to step their feud up and it could still happen in future.

“I was told the decision was made to not do it yet and they will get to it eventually. They’re just not there yet,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Bayley and Sasha were once part of the Four Horsewomen in NXT and have been enemies on the developmental brand as well as friends. Their match at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn was one of the matches that many of the WWE Universe see as the beginning of the Women’s Revolution, which is why there is hope that they will be given a worthy rivalry on the main roster.
