TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs is less than three weeks away and it appears that the match that the company officially announced last week could now be heading in a new direction. According to PWInsider, Bray Wyatt is backstage at Raw tonight and could be looking to make his return.
The former WWE Champion has been out of action since August but made his return at Starrcade this past weekend when he defeated Baron Corbin after he sent out an open challenge.
The former leader of The Wyatt Family could now be set to return tonight on Raw so that he can be used as a replacement for Braun Strowman at TLC.
Strowman underwent surgery on his injured elbow earlier today and the fact that Wyatt is ready to return on Raw tonight could be a hint that the surgery didn’t go as well as the company had hoped.
There was initially the plan that Strowman would instead be part of a squash match with Corbin where he would be able to wrestle to the best of his ability if he isn’t able to be cleared, but now it appears that WWE has called in reinforcements in the shape of Bray Wyatt, since he could be set to take his place in the TLC match that is planned for the pay-per-view of the same name.
It remains to be seen whether or not Wyatt will make an appearance tonight on Raw since he could be backstage on Raw as an unused talent. Wyatt and Strowman have their own history having both worked together as part of The Wyatt Family, which could be why he was chosen as his replacement, to begin with.
