Evolution is now just two months away and already there have been two matches made official for the event. The first is the second annual Mae Young Classic final, which is yet to air on the WWE Network, whilst the other will see Trish Stratus take on Alexa Bliss.
There are a number of other matches that are obviously building which include Nikki Bella vs Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship and Kairi Sane vs Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship but there are also others that WWE could be playing close to their chests.
It’s being reported by WrestlingInc that WWE is planning on having Maryse on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and she is being booked as a regular star in the weeks that follow since she will team with her husband The Miz at Hell in a Cell to take on Brie Bell and Daniel Bryan.
It’s worth noting that Maryse gave birth to her daughter just four months ago and already she’s back in a WWE ring and looking incredible, this could be one of the reasons why it’s being rumored that Maryse and Brie Bella will be colliding at Evolution on October 28th as well.
There are a number of stars who have made it clear that they want to be part of the event over the past few weeks including 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley, whilst Gail Kim has made it clear that she wants no part in the show and Melina recently retired from the sport.
Interestingly though, recent reports suggest that Vince McMahon has personally reached out to AJ Lee to see if the former Divas Champion would be open to appearing on WWE TV for the first time since 2015.
