Possible Spoiler On WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair Appearing On SmackDown Live

Survivor Series takes place this weekend live from Los Angeles and will see the Raw and SmackDown rosters go head to head in a battle for brand dominance. The matches have all been announced now, but there are still a number of places on the SmackDown Live Survivor Series teams.

One of the main storylines heading into the show is the fact that Charlotte may not be willing to take up her place as the captain of the women’s team because of her defeat to Becky Lynch. It’s being reported on PWInsider elite audio by Mike Johnson that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has been spotted in town ahead of tonight’s episode of SmackDown and could likely be set to make an appearance as part of this storyline.

“One person who will be on SmackDown tomorrow is WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair. He’s already been spotted around town and it makes sense because Paige had initially wanted Charlotte to be the team leader.”

“Charlotte is not full of confidence because she lost the match to Becky Lynch at the Evolution pay-per-view so perhaps and I’m being very speculative here. Perhaps Ric Flair shows up and gives his daughter the kind of cheerleading talking to and riles her up and gets her back in the game so to speak before Survivor Series. So we’ll see what happens there,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Flair hasn’t been seen since he was part of SmackDown 1000 when he reunited with Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista, but a huge part of Charlotte’s career has been focused on the fact that she’s Flair’s daughter and she could use some motivating words from her father heading into this weekend’s show.

It is the final episode of SmackDown ahead of Survivor Series tonight and since Charlotte was part of the invasion on Raw last night, it’s likely that she will be added to the team and that the Raw women will be looking for some revenge tonight.

This time of year there is always an invasion storyline but since the women main evented last night’s Raw, it could be the men’s turn to step up tonight and build the momentum ahead of their collision which will main event Sunday’s show.
