WWE has WrestleMania plans chalked out for reigning Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the current plan is for Lesnar to go 1-on-1 with Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35.

This perhaps goes on to explain why Rollins took a shot at Lesnar a few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW in the UK. The Kingslayer ranted how Lesnar’s title victory over Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel was a slap in the face of Roman Reigns, the fans and every single Superstar in the locker room.

Brock is currently scheduled to face Strowman at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on January 27, 2019. It was earlier reported that The Beast is to walk into the MetLife Stadium on April 7 with the big red belt around his waist. If the new report is to be true, then Strowman could be losing to Lesnar for the third time in a row on January 27.

It would be interesting to see if Rollins actually drops the Intercontinental Title before stepping in the ring with Brock at WrestleMania 35. The 2-time Universal Champion is already slated for more dates post-Mania, so it shouldn’t come off as a surprise if he retains the title next year at the Showcase of Immortals.

Besides, Lesnar has made a name for himself by signing new deals on the very day of his final match on the existing contract. Thus chances of Rollins walking out with the Universal Title are quite thin and the Kingslayer could suffer the same fate that Reigns had suffered at WrestleMania 34.

Of all three members of The Shield, The Beast has only wrestled Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania till date. So all indications point towards Lesnar vs. Rollins come April 7.

Drew McIntyre is another name that could also be in the Universal Championship picture at WrestleMania 35 as the Scottish Psychopath is currently being pushed to be the next face of WWE in Reigns’ absence.
