It was reported recently that NXT had the latest case of COVID-19 outbreak in their roster, which forced changes in their programming at the last moment. WWE has also canceled Performance Center sessions for the time being.
As usual, the absentees from their programming were suspected to have tested positive for the virus, with Undisputed Era’s Bobby Fish being one of them.
Fish didn’t appear on NXT this Wednesday, which saw his team-mate Kyle O’Reilly secure a momentous victory in the Number 1 contender Gauntlet Eliminator Match.
It led people to believe that Fish had tested positive for the virus, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter debunked the theories.
WON reported that Fish actually suffered a minor injury while training kickboxing and BJJ.
It is unclear how long Fish will be out of action, as he is scheduled to team up with Roderick Strong in a No.1 contender matchup against Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan.
Although the names of individuals who have tested positive weren’t revealed, Chelsea Green confirmed that she tested positive but has since recovered from the virus.
