WWE Money In The Bank is gradually taking the shape of a massive show with already 10 matches under the hood. However, 3-time WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, who made his in-ring return after 3 years following a career-ending injury, is missing from the most anticipated Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. The WWE Universe considered Bryan as the top favorite to win this year’s Money In The Bank briefcase.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported the possible reason why Bryan is not in the Men’s Ladder Match on June 17. As it stands out, ladder matches increase the risk of neck injuries and concussions which are two things WWE inevitably wants to avoid big-time when it comes to Daniel Bryan.

Bryan still gets a medical checkup after every match he wrestles in. The tradition is to thank the opponent after a match. However, for Bryan, the tradition is to head straight to the trainer’s room. The American Dragon take s a basic test every single time he works a match to make sure that he is still in good shape and able to compete.

Although WWE’s concern for Bryan’s health is a good thing for the Superstar who had earlier met with a career-ending injury, being overly cautious could also rob the former WWE Champion of major spotlight moments like competing in this year’s Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

The Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match will feature Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, The Miz, Rusev, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens, one member from The New Day and Samoa Joe. Hopefully, Bryan will have a match on the card against arch rival Big Cass.

WWE Money In The Bank will air live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on June 17, 2018.
