Rey Mysterio Makes Surprise Appearance At NXT Live Event

NXT Live Events have developed quite a reputation over the past few months, since you never can be sure who will show up. In the past, the likes of Cesaro, Luke Harper and even Tyler Breeze have made appearances at Live Events to take on the next generation in the company.

Last night Rey Mysterio joined that list of names when he appeared in his hometown of San Diego to confront Kona Reeves who was insulting the city. After a back and forth, Reeves went after Mysterio and the former World Champion responded with a 619 to send the crowd home happy.

Daniel Bryan Wants Hair vs Mask Match With Gran Metalik

Daniel Bryan is becoming an interesting heel on the SmackDown Live roster and while the star has been growing his hair out over the past few months, he has held on to the idea that he could have a hair vs mask match in the future.

[adace-ad id=”7795″]

Bryan is a huge fan of Latin American wrestling and continues to follow a number of Mexican promotions, but when it comes to his perfect hair vs mask match, he already has an opponent in mind and he’s already contracted to WWE.

Bryan recently spoke to Yahoo Sports where he was able to reveal that Gran Metalik was the opponent that he was looking for.

[adace-ad id=”7792″]

“It’s not this selfless thing, it’s actually a selfish thing. I want to wrestle the best guys on the planet. Some of those best guys are on ‘205 Live.’ We have Gran Metalik here and he’s one of the best Luchadors in the world and he’s on that show. Man, would I love to wrestle that guy in a mask vs. hair match. That’s sometimes where my passion gets ahead of me,” he said via Ringsidenews.

While this isn’t completely out of the question, it could be an interesting matchup for SmackDown Live moving forward, especially since many 205 Live stars have been making waves on the main roster recently.
