Former World Champion Rey Mysterio’s return to WWE has created a ton of speculation among pro-wrestling fans in recent weeks..

“The Master Of The 619” returned to WWE in January, 2018 and shocked the world when he entered the Men’s Royal Rumble Match at the #27. Mysterio returned yet again in April as the 28th entrant in the first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. However, both were one-off appearances, and Mysterio has been juggling appearances with other promotions, including New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), while attempting to negotiate a deal with WWE.

The Roman Show recently interviewed Mysterio at the annual Florida Supercon and asked the legendary high-flyer a few questions about a possible WWE return. One such topic was about possibly working with WWE fan-favorite Daniel Bryan. Mysterio hinted that he’s willing to come back for any dream match on either Monday Night RAW or SmackDown Live.

Mysterio also added that he’s full with all his upcoming appearances, including NJPW and the highly-anticipated ALL IN event on September 1, 2018.

“Anything can happen. I did two Royal Rumbles for WWE this year. If you happen to see me on a Raw or Smackdown and you want to see a certain match, then you already know. But if not, I am still going to be doing what I am doing out here in the wrestling independent scene.

“Next month I’m out in New Japan to do another show for NJPW, I’m doing the ‘All In’ event on September 1st that sold out in 29 minutes, so there’s a lot of good things coming [including] the Chris Jericho cruise in October and the Expo Lucha that’s on August 30th and 31st in Las Vegas.”

The Mysterio vs. Bryan dream match could certainly happen if Bryan signs a new deal with WWE. It is to be noted that Bryan hasn’t signed a new WWE deal yet.
