Rhea Ripley was a huge part of the main roster storylines at the beginning of the year when she became the first woman to defend the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.
Following her loss to Charlotte Flair, The Nightmare hasn’t been the focal point of NXT over the past few months, and it appears that the former Champion believed that she would be drafted to the main roster back in October.
While speaking to Lilian Garcia on Chasing Glory, Ripley revealed that she was waiting to be included in the draft but when it didn’t happen she decided to focus on what she has left to achieve in NXT.
“I was waiting for it and then it didn’t happen. I would like to go to Raw or SmackDown, but at the same time, there are so many people in NXT that I haven’t faced yet and I feel like there is so much more that I can still do. I would love to wrestle Candice [LeRae], especially now that her whole persona has changed. I would love to wrestle Indi Hartwell, Shotzi [Blackheart], I want to wrestle Raquel [Gonzalez] again. I would love to do a stipulation match with her.”
Ripley will be part of War Games this weekend when she joins Shotzi Blackheart’s team as she looks to overcome Team Candice LeRae.
