Rhea Ripley Talks About The Need For Another Evolution Pay-Per-View

Former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is set to face the woman who took her title, Charlotte Flair, and old rival Io Shirai in a triple threat match at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

Before the show, Ripley did a promotional interview with the Metro where she spoke about the need for women wrestlers to shine.

Specifically, Ripley talked about how she would love to see another all-women pay-per-view event in WWE.

In 2018, the WWE held Evolution, the first all-women pay-per-view. They did not, however, follow it up in 2019 and there are no announcements for one in 2020.

According to Ripley, there needs to be another Evolution pay-per-view, or even another women’s tournament like the Mae Young Classic because there are so many women’s wrestlers in the WWE who need a chance to perform.

“I would love to see another Evolution. I would absolutely love it! That was so much fun,” said Ripley.

“Another Evolution would be fantastic because we do need that stage and we need to shine the way that we should shine,” she said.

Ripley was the NXT UK Women’s Champion during the first Evolution and defended her title in a dark match against Dakota Kai.
