Charlotte Flair is a proud 10-time WWE Women’s Champion and a guaranteed future Hall Of Famer. Despite her huge success in the company, fans often criticize WWE for giving her preferential treatment simply because she is the daughter of the living legend, Ric Flair.

Post-WrestleMania 35, Charlotte has been portraying both babyface and heel roles simultaneously thereby ruining the depth of her character. And Ric isn’t quite happy with the way WWE has been booking her daughter of late.

During a recent interview with Wrestling Inc., the 16-time World Champion expressed his dissatisfaction with the creative.

“I am not happy with the way they are doing it; I guess she’s been put in that role. Number one, I need to be left out of the equation because she has surpassed me in talent. [Charlotte Flair’s] never gonna be around for 40 years which is why I’m still a household name. I think they look at it and say, ‘Well, she’s like her dad. She’ll do anything we want her to do because she’s a pro.’”

Corey Graves has also noted how Charlotte’s intensity has been diminished by the recent tag team storylines that WWE has been putting her in. The Savior Of Misbehavior claims The Queen isn’t giving her all which Ric Flair strongly disagrees with.

“I don’t think she’ll ever be bored with her storylines and not participate at its fullest. That part is wrong on Corey’s part. But as far as her being the best athlete in the company, a Hall of Famer already, and being the biggest star of the women’s division, he’s spot on.”

Now that the 2-time Hall Of Famer has publicly expressed his unhappiness, it would be interesting to see how WWE books Charlotte going forward.

The Queen’s character has definitely cooled down post-Survivor Series and hopefully, WWE will be able to ‘fix‘ the issue ahead of The Road To WrestleMania.
