Ric Flair has stated that hitting the WWE Performance Center is much safer than visiting a grocery store during the on-going coronavirus pandemic. The 16-time World Champion isn’t interested in wearing masks despite the fact that he is 71 years old and is highly susceptible to the novel coronavirus.
This past Friday, a maskless Flair was spotted at a Georgia Starbucks drive-thru in his Mercedes. A phone call about the matter resulted in a concerning revelation.
According to New York Post, Flair tested positive for COVID-19 “two days prior on Wednesday.” The Nature Boy denied the claim but did state that his wife, Wendy Barlow has the deadly virus.
“That is absolutely incorrect.”
“My wife does [have the virus]… we live in a 5,000 square foot home. I live in the basement. She lives upstairs on the third floor and she got sick.”
The report suggests that Wendy is seriously ill while Ric is mostly asymptomatic aside from some coughing.
“Despite his wife’s confirmed diagnosis, Flair was maskless as he handed cash to an employee through the window, the photos show.”
The 2-time Hall of Famer hung up on The Post before he could be asked about his maskless Starbucks run.
