Ring of Honor Signs Indie Wrestler Danhausen

Wrestling promotion Ring of Honor has now officially signed independent wrestler Danhausen.

Ring of Honor announced their signing of the rather “eccentric” Danhausen in a Tweet with a video of the wrestler talking about his Ring of Honor status. However, there is a catch – Danhausen must win a Ring of Honor match before 2020 ends.

“What better day than Halloween for the very nice, very evil Danhausen to make a monumental announcement!” reads the Tweet caption.

“Now it‘s time for them to rue the day,” declares the eccentric Danhausen. “Anyway, love that Danhausen. See ya soon, Ring of Honor.

Danhausen has been working sporadically for Ring of Honor since his debut match for the promotion last November. He had been a participant in the 20-man Battle Royal during the ROH Free Enterprise event back in February. He failed to win the match and the promised shot at the ROH World Championship.

During an interview with Wrestling Inc this week, Danhausen confirmed that he had been recently pulled from some ROH tapings due to concerns that he had been exposed to COVID-19.

According to him, he had tested negative twice after appearing at the GCW’s Collective event, where there was supposedly an outbreak among the performers. Ring of Honor, however, sent Danhausen home just to be safe.
