R-Truth was able to win back the 24/7 Championship last night on Raw when he went to Rob Gronkowski’s house and was able to pin him in his own garden.

Truth has been hunting Gronkowski ever since his WrestleMania victory, but the writing was on the wall when Gronk opted to return to the NFL.

Earlier today it was revealed that the star had exercised his release clause in his contract following his title loss, and there are a number of backstage officials who are happy to see the back of him.

According to a report by Fightful Select, Gronkowski hesitated when it came to performing his spot at WrestleMania which meant that the company was running two hours behind.

The report went on to state that even the most helpful and easy-going backstage employees only had negative things to say about the former star.

“Those that we’ve spoken to — even those with a reputation of being easy, helpful, and good to work with, all had negative things to say about working with Gronk after his WrestleMania fiasco.”

“There was heat on Gronkowski after his hesitation to do his scheduled spot put the WrestleMania filming two hours behind schedule. One top name on the roster called Gronk “A F***in’ clown who we are so much better off without.”
