Roman Reigns Health Update, Becky Lynch & Corey Graves Row, Kenny Omega’s Multi-Million Dollar WWE Offer, AEW Rally

Health Update On Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns relinquished the WWE Universal Championship and departed from WWE in order to battle returning Leukemia. Recently, Reigns was replaced by Shield-brother Seth Rollins on the official RAW banner. The Kingslayer provided a major health update on The Big Dog during a recent interview with Fox 2 News in Detroit, MI.

“Roman is doing great. He obviously spent the holidays home with his family and he’s doing really good. He’s in a good position. He’s primed to make a comeback, hopefully sometime sooner rather than later.”

“But, at the end of the day, he’s just focusing on getting healthy right now. I will say that he’s doing good, he’s in good spirits.”

Becky Lynch & Corey Graves Row

Becky Lynch recently slammed Corey Graves for his creepy tweets after the play-by-play announcer expressed his desire to have a ‘romance’ angle with her and Bayley. Graves then namedropped UFC megastar Conor McGregor to insult The Man. Former WWE Superstar Lance Storm quickly roasted Graves who later on discovered that her daughter is a fan of Becky.

WWE Offers Kenny Omega Multi-Million Dollar Contract

According to Dave Meltzer, Kenny Omega has received a “fantastic offer” from WWE. BodySlam has confirmed that Omega is set to leave NJPW although Wrestle Kingdom 13 may not be his final appearance for the promotion.

“There’s a meeting tomorrow with Ring Of Honor, All Elite, and New Japan and we’ll see how that goes. My strong impression is that I think that everyone wants to work together. I don’t know politically how it’s going to work out. I don’t think it’s impossible by any means, but there’s always going to be issues.”

“I think that New Japan doesn’t want to not have Kenny Omega, I don’t think that at all. Kenny Omega is the wildcard. WWE made a fantastic offer to him. Obviously New Japan wants to keep him. All Elite wants him. He’s in an interesting position.”

WWE To ‘Monitor’ AEW Rally

All Elite Wrestling will be conducting a free rally next Tuesday (January 8) at TIAA Field at 5 P.M. ET. – on the same evening, WWE will tape SmackDown Live just two blocks away at the Jacksonville Memorial Arena.

As reported by Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE representatives are set to “monitor” AEW’s rally. It’s unknown why WWE has decided to “monitor” the rally; it could be the fear of some sort of “invasion” during SmackDown Live.
