Roman Reigns officially made his WWE return this week on Monday Night RAW.
The Big Dog opened the show to give the WWE Universe a major update on his leukemia treatment.
On October 22, 2018, Reigns relinquished the Universal Championship and took a medical hiatus in order to battle returning leukemia. 4 months later, The Guy made his official return to RAW after putting leukemia in remission.
Reigns cut an emotional promo to thank the fans for their constant love and support. Soaking in the loud Atlanta ovation, the former Universal Champion hugged his family at ringside and also greeted David Arquette.
“Roman”, “Welcome Back”, “This Is Your Yard” chants were all over the place as The Big Dog was joined by his Shield-brother Seth Rollins on his way to the backstage.
Soon after the announcement, Superstars went all out on social media to pour in their love and welcomed Reigns back to his yard.
Later that night, Reigns and Rollins came out to aid Dean Ambrose in his No Disqualification match against Drew McIntyre.
Elias came out of nowhere and hit Ambrose with a guitar. Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin also joined the party.
The Moral Compass suffered a humiliating defeat but the assault continued post-match. Enter the two Hounds.
After Superman-punching his way through the heels (Lashley took the first shot), The Big Dog hit his first spear on McIntyre since his in-ring return.
Roman and Seth exited together but stopped to look back at Ambrose who was trying to get back on his feet. The Moral Compass looked appreciative with a (sort of) cheeky smile.
Is another Shield reunion just around the corner ahead of WrestleMania?
