The Shield is currently crossing off their last matches as a trio as part of this week&#8217;s live event schedule. Most recently, they defeated the team of Bobby Lashley, Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin (Drew McIntyre faced some travel issues on the way to the show and was replaced by Mahal) in St Louis.



Tonight, the trio team up once again for the same match in Springfield before saying farewell to Dean Ambrose in Moline on Sunday as part of a special that will be aired on the WWE Network called <a href="https://api.wrestlingworld.co/news/wwe-will-air-the-shields-final-house-show-match-live/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="The Shield's Last Chapter (opens in a new tab)">The Shield&#8217;s Last Chapter</a>.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have been by Ambrose&#8217;s side for the past seven years and it&#8217;s now sinking in that the former World Champion is walking away from the company on Sunday night following their match.



Roman Reigns has been traveling with Ambrose for much of his career and it appears that it&#8217;s only just sinking in for The Big Dog that his friend is leaving the company since he mentioned this as part of a recent promotional video ahead of tomorrow&#8217;s match.

&#8220;Yeah, I&#8217;m riding with him, so it really feels like it for me. The real-life aspect is something that always weighs in heavy on me. It&#8217;s been a while, I haven&#8217;t done a full loop in six months now, so, yeah, it feels like it&#8217;s getting there,&#8221; he said via <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/04/roman-reigns-on-if-he-will-convince-dean-ambrose-to-stay-653317/" target="_blank">WrestlingInc</a>.



Reigns was open to convincing Ambrose to stay when he returned to the company a few months ago, but now Reigns has given up and decided to allow Ambrose to make his own decisions as long as he&#8217;s happy.
