Ronda Rousey was a victim of the numbers game between Alexa Bliss and Alicia Fox last week on Raw after Fox defeated Natalya and then went after the former UFC Champion.
Surprisingly, it was Alicia who got the upperhand over Rousey and was able to throw her into the barricade a number of times, on her return to the show following suspension.
Rousey later headed backstage and told Kurt Angle that she wanted revenge, which was when The General Manager made a huge match for tonight’s episode of RAW, that will see Rousey make her in-ring debut on the flagship show.
According to a report by CageSideSeats, Rousey vs Alicia Fox could headline tonight’s episode of RAW, since she has been impressive in her last two matches which have both come on pay-per-view.
At the very least, Rousey is expected to defeat Alicia in impressive fashion to continue the build-up to her match for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
Mickie James could still be out with an injury tonight on RAW, which means that Alexa Bliss will be in Fox’s corner for the match whilst Natalya will be in Rousey’s corner as part of the show.
It is thought that the match could end with one of the women gaining the upperhand on the penultimate show before they collide in Brooklyn, which is likely to be Bliss of a distraction.
Rousey has impressed WWE officials backstage with her matches at WrestleMania and Money in the Bank, to the point where she could main event a number of upcoming pay-per-views, so don’t be surprised if the company decides to test the water by allowing her to make her RAW debut in the main event.
