Ronda Rousey battles Alexa Bliss this Sunday night at SummerSlam and the former UFC Champion could lift her first piece of Championship gold if she is able to defeat Little Miss Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship.
So it’s no wonder that she recently hinted that she wants to extend her stay in WWE since she is having so much fun in the wrestling world.
The former Olympian recently spoke to ESPN ahead of her match against Bliss this weekend and hinted that she could be looking into an alternate timeline for her future plans since she is enjoying her time in WWE so much.
“I love this way more than I ever thought I would,” Rousey said. “We had a set timeline set, and now we aren’t so sure about it because I love it so much. I guess that’s the best thing that could’ve happened, that I would love it so much it would be so hard to stop.
“I can see why people have a hard time leaving this industry because it’s such joy to be a part of every day.”
There were reports following her debut back in January that she was only looking for a short-term deal with WWE because she was hoping to start a family with her husband MMA fighter Travis Browne and much of this speculation suggested that she would only remain with WWE for around a year.
Rousey has become one of the most popular stars in the company since she made her debut and has adapted well to the wrestling world since coming over from UFC, which could be why she is enjoying the transition so much.
