Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey first collided back at Money in the Bank as part of a match that Jax challenged Rousey to and the two women quickly went from friends to enemies throughout the build.

When Jax won the first Women’s Battle Royal at Evolution it was made official that she would be able to challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship in the coming months.

Whilst Jax has been in the news over the past week because of her shocking botch that cost Becky Lynch her match at Survivor Series, WWE has decided to push this as a way to get Jax over as a heel and last night on Raw, Ronda Rousey officially revealed that she would be defending her title against Nia Jax.

Rousey won her match against Charlotte on Sunday night via disqualification and was then viciously attacked by the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, but was still able to attend Raw last night and successfully defend her Women’s Championship against Mickie James.

Jax now has an interesting partnership with Tamina Snuka which will definitely work to her advantage at TLC, in a match that is yet to be given a stipulation, but Rousey proved this week on Raw that she isn’t a regular female wrestler.

Whilst Jax and Snuka picked up the win over Sasha Banks and Bayley earlier in the night, they were on hand to send a message to Rousey when they made their way out through the curtain and Jax showed off the fist that she now calls “The Facebreaker.”

Jax will definitely be a tough test for Rousey, especially since the Raw Women’s Champion now also has to look over her shoulder for Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.
