WWE Raw: Shayna Baszler Dominates on Raw Underground Debut

Ahead of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, there were reports that former MMA star Shayna Baszler would be stepping into...

Titus O’Neil allegedly stormed off upon seeing Hulk Hogan backstage prior to Extreme Rules on Sunday.

As reported earlier, Hogan returned to WWE on Sunday before Extreme Rules aired and apologized to the entire WWE Locker Room for his racially insensitive comments from over a decade ago. In 2015, the comments leaked to the media and WWE had cut ties with The Hulkster. Based on Instagram screenshots that have cropped up on social media, it seems like Titus O’Neil was not fully satisfied about Hogan’s return. However, the story claiming that O’Neil walked out is false.

WrestlingInc has provided details on what exactly happened backstage. The entire locker room was asked to show up at the arena for a meeting. Upon their arrival, the Superstars were informed that the meeting was about Hulk Hogan’s intentions to apologize. After the apology, some Superstars stayed and shook Hogan’s hand and hugged him. Those who were not booked for Extreme Rules went back to their respective hotel rooms. O’Neil was not booked for the Pay-Per-View, so he was among those who left after the meeting. Titus didn’t storm off, neither did he cause a scene.

On Monday, Mark Henry told TMZ that black wrestlers were split 50/50 on Hogan’s return which justifies the fact that O’Neil might not be too thrilled about Hogan’s return.

O’Neil also posted an inspirational message on Instagram that some fans took as a message to Hogan:

Although Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall Of Fame, WWE claims he has not signed a deal yet (despite multiple reports confirming the opposite) and that Hogan’s apology was not filmed for an upcoming episode of WWE 24.
