Shawn Michaels retired from WWE after he lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 more than eight years ago and has since stated a number of times that he wouldn’t make a return because he wanted to be the one WWE star who remained retired.
Michaels has referred a number of matches over the past few years, but the former World Champion is yet to wrestle a match since 2010 which is why the WWE Universe have been hyped up about him making a return to the ring for the first time in almost a decade.
The WWE Hall of Famer is already set to be part of Triple H’s match against The Undertaker in Australia on October 6th, but the match that the WWE Universe is excited about one that is set to take place in Saudi Arabia on November 2.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, Shawn Michaels’ match in the Middle East is now confirmed to be a tag team match that will see him team with Triple H to take on the reunited Brothers of Destruction.
Since it was The Undertaker who officially retired Michaels all those years ago, it makes sense if he is the one that Michaels makes his return against in November.
The Heartbreak Kid has been building up a match with The Deadman over the past few weeks ever since their face off on Raw, but this is yet to be officially confirmed by WWE.
It is thought that if Michaels gets involved in the match between Triple H and The Undertaker at Super Show-Down then it will be officially announced in the weeks that follow since this will be a definite way to keep Saudi Arabian fans happy.
