WWE’s final PPV of the year, TLC 2020, is all set to take place on December 20. With just three weeks to go for the show, there are no matches announced as of now, and a rumored injury to Braun Strowman apparently threw off a planned encounter for the show.
It was also rumored that Daniel Bryan is set to take on Roman Reigns at the PPV with the Universal Title on the line, but WWE officials are planning to move the match to the Royal Rumble event next year.
Reigns will be involved in a different program at TLC, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. This is still quite tentative, and WWE hasn’t completely scrapped the plans for the major matchup.
“Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan may be the Universal title match. As of early in the week, the decision was leaning toward that match at the Royal Rumble and something else at TLC, but at this point there’s nothing else set up.”
Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens seem to be the only viable options for a possible feud for Reigns, as the two stars lost to Jey Uso, who is now alligned with the Tribal Chief.
