Sami Zayn hasn&#8217;t been seen on WWE TV for a number of weeks soon after the former Intercontinental Champion reportedly refused to return to WWE TV while the COVID-19 pandemic is still progressing.



Zayn has since been stripped of his Championship and a new Champion will be decided in the final of the tournament between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles this weekend at WWE Backlash.



While Zayn&#8217;s off-screen persona has been praised over the years because of the things that Zayn has managed to do as part of his #SamiForSyria campaign, it appears that the former NXT Champion is very different when his ideas come into play.



Current AEW star Arn Anderson recently opened up about his relationship with Zayn on his <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="http://www.westwoodonepodcasts.com/pods/arn/" target="_blank">Arn Podcast</a> and revealed that the duo clashed many times.

Maybe it’s because I clashed with Sami. Sami and I clashed quite a few times over what he perceived to be small things, but I always believed the small things are the big things.”</blockquote>



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">“When you have to help a kid who is fresh from NXT or from somewhere else that comes on the roster, and you are faced with x number of minutes in this position on RAW or SmackDown, as they agent, it is your responsibility to make sure that match is good and it reflects all the rules put in place by the boss, known or not known. You have to be involved in every little aspect of things that in the storytelling process makes sense.”</blockquote>
