Sasha Banks hasn’t featured on WWE TV over the past few weeks and even missed Hell in a Cell, but it appears that there could be a reason for this, since it was recently revealed by WWE that The Boss is injured and is the second wrestler this week to be pulled from The Mixed Match Challenge.

Alexa Bliss was forced out of the premiere episode of season two of the show on Tuesday when it was revealed that she was struggling with numbness in her arm, but the former Women’s Champion is expected to be back on WWE TV next week, but it appears as though Sasha Banks could be sidelined for much longer.

Cathy Kelley recently revealed on WWE’s Twitter account that The former Raw Women’s Champion would be unable to team with Bobby Lashley next week against Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox in the Mixed Match Challenge, but details of her injury weren’t actually disclosed.

Banks has been pulled out of the entire Mixed Match Challenge and will be replaced by Mickie James, which means that Evolution could be up in the air for Sasha.

The former Women’s Champion doesn’t have a match as part of the show yet, but since she has been one of the main women as part of the evolution over the past few years, this will be heartbreaking news for The Boss.

The second episode of The Mixed Match Challenge takes place on Tuesday night and will see Lashley and Mickie James take on Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox. WWE.com currently has a poll where the WWE Universe can vote on a new name for the team of Lashley and James.
