Earlier this week, it was reported that Sasha Banks had been pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge because of an injury and that Mickie James would replace her in the competition alongside Bobby Lashley.

It was not revealed what the injury was, but since Banks was pulled from the entire competition, which is expected to lead up to Evolution, many fans believed it to be quite a serious injury.

Banks recently updated the following on her Twitter account, which seems to state that Sasha has accepted her injury and is now hoping that she can work her way back.

She and her husband Mikaze also went on to update their Instagram accounts with the following cryptic messages about Sasha’s future. Many believe that because Sasha is seen walking in the following image then her injury isn’t something to do with her legs, but the comments that accompany the images seem to point towards the former Women’s Champion being forced to make a decision.

Evolution takes place in just over four weeks time and it appears that Sasha could be having a crisis when it comes to being fit in time. The Boss doesn’t have a match at Evolution as of yet and it was assumed that she and Bayley would be teaming up in some kind of Women’s Tag Team Championship match, when the titles were finally unveiled, which would be a real issue if Sasha is injured.

Until her actual injury is made public it’s hard to speculate on how long The Boss will be on the shelf, but the WWE Universe wishes her all the best in her recovery and hope that she is still able to appear at Evolution and celebrate the Revolution that she helped to create.
