It’s definitely injury season in WWE, with many talents currently struggling with slight knocks that are keeping them from delivering their best work on WWE TV, whilst others have been forced onto the sidelines due to the severity of their injury.

Sasha Banks was one of the stars that were sidelined with a mysterious injury last month when she was taken out of the Mixed Match Challenge and her status for Evolution was then considered to be up in the air. The Boss returned to WWE TV last week and her match for Evolution has since been announced, but the injury still remains a mystery.

Banks herself recently joined Maria Menounos on Conversations with Maria Menounos where she revealed that her injury was concussion related.

“I was having head pain and I couldn’t function. I couldn’t drive and I couldn’t sleep and I was like ‘I need to go get checked out,” she said via RingsideNews.

The Boss was struggling both inside and outside of the ring, but she seems to have been able to return to the ring quite easily and hasn’t missed a beat since. This Sunday she teams up with Bayley and Natalya to take on The Riott Squad as part of the first ever all Women’s pay-per-view.

Banks is considered by many to have been one of the women who has spearheaded the Women’s Revolution, which is why it was so important for her to be part of the show.

Bayley and Sasha Banks are also both heavily tipped to become the first ever Women’s Tag Team Champions in WWE, so it’s now in Bank’s best interest to remain an active part of the Raw roster.
