Four-time Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has come a long way since getting called up to the main roster, but she has yet to meet her biggest goal: To main event WrestleMania.
Banks was recently interviewed by Cathy Kelley on Talking Snack. She told that, to be part of the Wrestlemania main event is part of her career bucket list.
“The biggest goal for me is to main event WrestleMania. Like, I have to accomplish that,” said Banks.
Banks shares the distinction with Charlotte Flair as being the first women to have headlined a WWE Pay-Per-View. This occurred during Hell In A Cell 2016.
“Outside WWE. I don’t have any other dreams,” Banks declared during the interview. “WWE is it for me.”
Banks also shared her thoughts on the state of the women’s division in the WWE right now.
“It’s such a beautiful division right now where, legit, every woman wants to make this place better. We want to be like the guys. We want to keep on having great storylines, and more matches. We just want to. I want to be better than the guys every time I go out there,” she said.
Banks is mostly seen nowadays as part of a tag team with Bayley called “The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection”. The two women have mostly been classing with the Riott Squad.
Banks was also part of the 2018 Women’s Survivor Series team. She was in fact the next to last woman standing from Raw. She was only eliminated by Asuka after her team mate Nia Jax betrayed her.
